Sourdough stays fresh at room temperature for 4-7 days. If already cut, make sure its face-side down
Best Stored in a Freezer zip-lock bag or a Beeswax lined Bread bag
Please don't refrigerate your bread --the cold air will dry it out and will go stale more quickly.
If your loaf has lost its luster, is not as crunchy or fresh, simply run it quickly under the faucet for 5-10 seconds, then put it in a preheated oven of 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
For long-term storage, freeze your bread in an airtight bag, whole or sliced and put in the freezer. It will stay delicious for up to 6 months.
To enjoy frozen bread, let it thaw at room temperature or toast a slice straight from the freezer. For a crispier crust after thawing, warm your loaf in a pre-heated oven at 350-degree for 10-15 minutes.
Allow your loaf to cool completely before slicing. Cutting too soon can release steam and affect texture.
Store at room temperature in a paper bag, bread bag, or wrapped loosely in a clean kitchn towel no more than 2-3 days. . This keeps the crust crisp while letting the bread breathe.
Avoid sealing them in plastic at room temperature for too long - moisture can soften the crust and affect freshness.
